Zhenwu Pavilion, built in the first year of the Ming Dynasty (1573), is located on the north shore of Dongxiu River, Rong County, Yulin, Guangxi. Early in the 1960s, Liang Sicheng, an architectural expert and professor of Tsinghua University, inspected in detail and called it "a rare pearl in the history of ancient Chinese architecture". In 1982, Zhenwu Pavilion was designated as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council. Zhenwu Pavilion has three floors and three eaves. The eaves are large and the column is very low. That made the pavilion looks like one floor rather than three floors. It shows rhythm and momentum compared with the normal architectures. It completely shows the great masterpiece of Chinese architecture.
