Weizhou Island

Weizhou Island is located in the middle of the sea area of Beibu Gulf, Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Neighboring Beihai City, Guangxi in the north, Leizhou Peninsula in the east, Xieyang Island in the southeast, Hainan Island offshore in the south, Vietnam in the west, Weizhou Island is an extinct volcanic island with a large area in China. Many graduates choose to visit the island as the destination of their graduate travel. The Weizhou Island is formed by volcano eruption with marine erosion, marine accumulation and lava landscapes, and known as "Penglai Island". It’s the youngest volcano island in terms of geological age in China and it’s the largest island in Guangxi.
