Yong Opera

As one of the four major local operas in Guangxi, Yong Opera was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Project List in 2008. This opera is rooted in the folk, being gradually perfect and mature by the elaborate performance of artists, so as to generate a set of arias, performances and repertoires with strong rural flavor and national characteristics. The opera is popular with audiences especially in Nanning City and its surrounding areas.
