Former Residence of Feng Zicai

Former Residence of Feng Zicai, located in Baishuitang Village, Qinzhou City of Guangxi, was the residence of Feng Zicai when he retired. Feng Zicai was a general in the late Qing Dynasty (1818-1903). During the China-French war in 1885, this nearly-70-year-old man fought bravely in Zhennan Pass (current Friendship Pass in Pingxiang City), annihilating more than 1,000 enemies. The fight is known historically as “The Battle of Bang Bo (Zhennan Pass)”.
